Family mourns after N1 fatal crashes

Family members of three pedestrians who died in two separate crashes on the N1, near Bela Bela in Limpopo, say they are devastated.

A woman, with her child strapped to her back, were run over by the official vehicle of Health Minister, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, on Saturday.

The woman was trying to cross the highway to where her husband was lying after he was killed by a vehicle driven by an off-duty police officer.

The couple's other child, aged 14, survived.
