Eastern Cape Weather | KouKamma Municipality residents isolated

The recent heavy rainfall in the Eastern Cape has left communities in the KouKamma Municipality isolated, after the R62 between Kareedouw and Joubertina collapsed.

The farming community is the most affected, as trucks transporting fruit have to use a longer alternative route to reach these areas.

Nandipha Plaatjie reports that some farms were also flooded, affecting harvesting in the area.
