World-first standard modular battery-swapping ship put into operation#coolchina

The world's first standard modular battery-swapping #ship has been put into operation at #Wuhu Port in east China's Anhui Province. It carried 49 standard containers and successfully completed the loading and unloading operation. The ship has a deadweight of 3,000 tonnes and a maximum speed of 8 knots. It is equipped with six standard modular batteries, each with a capacity of 430 kWh. A single battery can be swapped in just 5 minutes, and the whole ship's batteries can be swapped in less than 30 minutes.
