North West drug lab | Number of arrests have been made

Eleven people, including one female, have been arrested during a drug bust on a farm in Swartruggens in the North West. According to police, a number of them are suspected to be Mexican nationals. They had set up an elaborate drug operation on a property that appears to operate as a game farm. The owner of the property was not on site when police pounced. A multi-disciplinary police team are still conducting investigations on the scene, with preliminary investigations showing that drugs worth at least a hundred million rand were found.
