University of Venda promotes use of Biofuel

Some households in Limpopo are reaping the rewards by using renewable resources like cow dung and plants to generate biogas. Biogas has become one of alternative sources of energy amid escalating electricity and fossil fuel prices. The University of Venda in Thohoyandou has been promoting the use of biofuel by equipping people in rural areas with skills to harvest biogas from cow dung.
