Chinese and Japanese experts renew calls for Japan to return looted treasures

Chinese and Japanese experts gathered in northeast China's Liaoning Province on Tuesday to press for the return of Chinese cultural relics looted by Japan. Despite years of negotiations with the Japanese government, progress remains stalled. As Japan's rightward shift accelerates, the repatriation effort faces growing resistance. Yet the resolve on the Chinese side has never been stronger.
