Expanded newborn unit transforms infant care in Kwale

Kwale Area Governor Fatuma Achani says the number of infants receiving specialised treatment at Msambweni Referral Hospital has surged from eight to 90 per month, following the expansion of the special care unit for newborns at the facility. This has greatly reduced infant mortality rates.
