Irish Minister: Talking to Putin "important if it ends the war"

Talking to Putin directly is "important if it's going to end the war", Irish EU Affairs & Defence Minister Thomas Byrne tells #EuropeToday.

Byrne also said EU sanctions on Israeli settlers are "a step forward," adding: "There's more we can do to help people in Palestine."
