COJ Financial Crisis | Morero clears the air over Joburg’s finances

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has met with the City of Johannesburg Mayor Dada Morero to discuss serious concerns the National Treasury has raised regarding the City's finances.

In a scathing letter issued last Wednesday, Godongwana revealed that creditors are owed R 25 billion while the municipality only has R 39 billion rand in available cash.
