Soweto commuters suffer amid taxi fare hikes

Scores of South Africans using public transport to commute are being negatively affected by the petrol price increase.

Taxis who are operating at Baragwanath Taxi Rank in Soweto were forced to increase their fares with at least R3, R6 and R10 respectively.

This means commuters will have to dig deeper in order to go to work.
