Retirement funds at centre of renewed prescribed assets debate

The debate around prescribed assets and the future of South Africans' retirement savings is once again in the spotlight.

The issue resurfaced during the 70th anniversary celebrations of the South African Local Authorities Trade Union (SALT), where labour leaders reflected on the role retirement funds could play in supporting economic growth and infrastructure development.
