CS Duale commissions cancer treatment machine in Mombasa

Community health promoters will from 1st July this year receive comprehensive medical cover under the Social Health Insurance Fund and well as absorption of universal health coverage workers into permanent and pensionable terms. Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale spoke Monday during the commissioning of a linear accelerator machine for radiation treatment of cancer patients at Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital where he said the facility will serve more than 100 patients daily.
