Officers charged with unlawful possession of precious metals out on bail

South Africa's ongoing battle against corruption and criminal infiltration in law enforcement, has taken another dramatic turn.

Senior police officers, Major-General Feroz Khan, Major-General Ebrahim Kadwa, and businessman, Tariq Downes, have appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court.

They have suspected links to an illicit precious metals syndicate.

The three have been released on R20.000 bail each.
