Prime Minister Narendra Modi call on Indians to help ease pressure on rupee

Shares in India's jewellers slid sharply after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for Indians to pause on buying gold, to ease pressure on the rupee. The precious metal is largely imported. The Indian leader also called for people to reduce non-essential travel to save fuel as higher oil prices are also weighing on the currency. Ishan Garg filed reports from New Delhi.
