Foot-and-Mouth Disease | Steenhuisen, Moeketsi lead massive vaccination drive in Mpumalanga

The Minister of Agriculture, John Steenhuisen, and the MEC of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs, Khethiwe Moeketsi, are leading a massive vaccination drive in Hazyview, Mpumalanga.

This is the seventh nationwide mass rollout campaign against foot and mouth disease.

The government aims to have vaccinated at least 80% of the national herd by the end of this year, which is a move that will reduce the risk of outbreaks by 70%.
