DA submits cabinet reshuffle proposal to Ramaphosa

The DA has sent proposed changes to its representatives in President Cyril Ramaphosa's cabinet.

It wants to see former party leader, John Steenhuisen, demoted to the position of Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, replacing Alexandra Abrahams.

Steenhuisen was appointed Minister of Agriculture in July 2024.
