Machakos family appeals for son’s eye surgery

A family in Matakutha Village, Matungulu, Machakos County is making a desperate appeal to save their only son’s eyesight. Joel Vavi Nzoka, now blind in both eyes, urgently needs specialised surgery in India costing 2.5 million shillings. His parents say they have exhausted their resources after months of hospital visits and unsuccessful fundraisers.
