Severe Weather classified a National Disaster

Government has classified the recent severe weather conditions ravaging parts of the country as a national disaster.

That's after heavy rainfall destroyed infrastructure and displaced some residents in some provinces. The affected provinces include the Western Cape, the Eastern Cape, the North West, the Free State, the Northern Cape and Mpumalanga.
