Woman seeks justice over childbirth disability

A Northern Cape woman who gave birth at Warrenton Community Health Centre wants the department of health to take responsibility for her disability post birth.

The mother of two minor children claims that while in labour she was given pethidine - an injection that helps with pain management and says after this injection she has not been able to walk.

The young mother has since lost her job and is now advised to sign up for a disability grant.
