Eleven suspects arrested in fuel theft operation - Hawks Spokesperson Christopher Singo

A major fuel theft operation has been uncovered in Meyerton after a multi-disciplinary law enforcement team arrested 11 suspects during a coordinated intelligence-driven operation.

The arrests were carried out by the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, together with other tactical and organised crime units.

This follows allegations of fuel theft at a fuel plant believed to be under administration.

Investigators are also probing whether security personnel guarding the facility may have been working with the suspects.
