Five shot in Zamimpilo informal settlement

Gauteng police are investigating two counts of murder and three of attempted murder following a shooting incident at the Zamimpilo informal settlement in Riverlea, south of Johannesburg, in the early hours of this morning.

Gauteng police spokesperson Tinstwalo Sibeko says a group of more than forty people had gathered outside a tavern, drinking and socialising, when three unknown suspects approached and started shooting at the patrons.
