A simple accusation without presenting evidence first is incredibly damaging whether it was a woman who was sexually assaulted or a man. It's unfortunate in cases like this, the man is automatically considered guilty, kind of scary. False accusations have ruined other people's lives, because if you are found innocent, it never receives the same attention. If he's guilty then he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
If one women makes allegation then its difficult for law inforcement to prove. But if several women come forward then its much more likely for law inforcement to achieve a correct outcome.
