JCPOA was not perfect but it prevented Iran from getting a nuke. At some point, you have to realize that threats cannot be eliminated, only managed like in the case of Iran. Iran wasn’t creating long-distance ICBMs, nukes, and wasn’t even planning to fire ballistic missiles. They only started firing their missiles when we attacked. Plus, they closed the Strait as well.
