The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry at the Brigitte Mabandla Justice College in Pretoria is hearing an application for the testimony of Witness K to be heard in camera.

Witness K, an inspector at the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department, is testifying on the precious stone case, which may implicate metro police officers in the department.

The precious stones were allegedly stolen from a private residential apartment in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
