WHO reassures Tenerife residents as Spain responds to health concerns.

Spain’s health minister and the head of the World Health Organization have traveled to Tenerife to oversee operations and reassure residents amid growing concern over a reported disease situation on the island.

Speaking publicly, WHO officials emphasized that the situation is not comparable to COVID-19 and stressed that the public health risk to local residents remains low.
