Arsenal vs Athletico Madrid 2nd leg, literally same situations with Trossard and Gulliano yet our play is the one that gets a VAR review and a RED card. Hard to play against either a ref bias or "poor" officiating.
I don’t understand this if any player kick another player with high kick recklessly in the pitch that’s red card even if it’s intentional or not. Because that’s career ending foul.and most of the time it’s not intentional but they still give red card . But when athletico keeper kick Fermin in his head and make him bleed and not even yellow card. They say it’s not intentional it’s an accident. That is so stupidly ridiculous. That keeper kick could’ve damaged his brain and end his career . They need to punish him so he don’t go recklessly like that next time. Fermin was little lucky but that can happen again if he don’t get punished he will do it again and it can end someone career.
BARCA GOT DONE WAY WORSE THAN MADRID (COMING FROM A MADRID FAN). THE REFFING IN BOTH LEGS WAS ATTROCIOUS, THAT WAS NOT A RED ! AND THEN TO END THE GAME RIGHT AT 8MINS EXTRA TIME AFTER ATLETICO WERE CLEARLY WASTING TIME SMH (FEELS LIKE THERE WAS AN AGENDA AND I AM NOT A BARCA FAN!)
BRO LITERALLY ATLETICO MADRID GOT LUCKY BRO WHEN IT WAS MESSI AND RONALDO THE LEAGUES COULDNT DO NOTHING 😂😂diego simeone wasnt doing all this couple years back 😂
The ref could hardly contain his satisfaction after giving the red card. Also, why did he cancel the Torres goal? Gavi had hit an opponent, wtf? It is not offside if you score after an opponent hits it last
Let’s acknowledge that UEFA refs have been making some very odd calls against Barça’s interest in the last couple of years. Are they playing “high risk/high reward” football? Yes, very much so. Have they accomplished anything with it? I think we could all agree on that, since they have won 5 trophies & had great runs throughout the last 2 seasons. The Champions League, like any other competition that goes based of “elimination”. They reward the team who’s able to cling on to the match & go based on DECISIVE moments.
Unlike “league like tournaments” like La Liga or any league that goes based of points & relegation standards.

I could go on about this, but fact of matter is it’s been way too many times. Can’t be a coincidence when most decisive calls go against Barcelona back to back for years.
As a bayern fan, that was NOT offside. Definitly a ref favoring athletico and could even been seen from the first leg. Horrible reffing this game. Barca had the win but atletico needs help holding their hand so it makes sense.
Can someone explain to me how at 9:48 and after he was not offsides? I'm fairly new as a fan. Thanks....
Gavi was giving it his all idk why the other midfielders aren’t like that and he came back from injury fermin was really a beast until that studs to the face 😢
