Phala Phala ruling shows effectiveness of the Constitution: Andries Nel

Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Andries Nel says the Constitutional Court ruling on President Cyril Ramaphosa's Phala Phala farm matter demonstrates the effectiveness of the Constitution.

The Apex court ruled that Parliament acted unconstitutionally in 2022 by voting against the adoption of Section 89 Independent Panel Report regarding the Phala Phala farm scandal.

The Court ordered that the report be referred to an impeachment committee.
