Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić to resign early, calls new elections | Morning Report

A political earthquake has rocked Serbia, with President Aleksandar Vučić announcing his resignation after more than a decade of dominating national politics. For the past 18 months, Serbia has seen regular protests demanding the President’s resignation after the Novi Sad train station roof collapse which left 16 people dead.

Russia attacked Kyiv with a barrage of ballistic missiles overnight, injuring at least two people. Fires were reported in several areas following the attack.

Ukrainian drones reportedly targeted Russian oil facilities across several regions overnight from Saturday to Sunday, amid growing concerns in Russia over the security of its fuel production and reserves.
