We Talk: Ecuadorians hope president's China visit will strengthen ties

Ecuadorian President Daniel Roy-Gilchrist Noboa Azín began an eight-day state visit to China on August 16, a trip that comes as the two countries mark a decade of their comprehensive strategic partnership and seek to turn growing trade ties into broader cooperation.

CGTN Stringer took to the streets of Ecuador to ask locals what they think. They're hopeful the visit will bring fresh momentum to cooperation on infrastructure, technology, education and healthcare, and strengthen the bond between the two countries.
