Brixton residents hopeful as new water reservoir opens

Residents of Brixton, Johannesburg, say they are hopeful that the completion and opening of a new ground reservoir and water tower will bring lasting relief.

The infrastructure is expected to improve water pressure and provide a more reliable supply to surrounding communities.

Johannesburg Mayor Dada Morero, together with Water and Sanitation Minister Pemmy Majodina, officially opened the reservoir and water tower project.
