ASEAN discussions on regional fuel stockpile in very early stage: PM Wong

Discussions on a regional fuel stockpile within ASEAN are still at a very early stage, Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said on Saturday (May 9). The idea, similar to an existing rice reserve scheme, aims to help member states manage supply disruptions. Further talks are expected as ASEAN explores whether the proposal is feasible.
