No rain forecast for Garden Route and Little Karoo, ideal for rescue operations

Disaster Management officials say clear skies in the Garden Route and Little Karoo regions will allow them to conduct rescue operations for people trapped by flood waters.

Scores of people have been cut off in both regions since Wednesday.

On Friday, a number of people were rescued in the Gamtoos Valley in the Kouga Municipality in the Eastern Cape.
