Israeli air strikes intensify in South Lebanon despite the ceasefire

Israeli air strikes and artillery attacks have intensified across southern Lebanon, with dozens reported killed in the past 24 hours despite an ongoing ceasefire.

Explosions continue to rock towns near Tyre, including Klea, Mansour, Majun, and Hania, as residents face repeated bombardment and forced evacuation orders. Lebanese health officials say at least 50 people were killed in one day, including civilians and a Lebanese civil defense worker.

The escalation comes amid growing international pressure on Israel to respect the ceasefire agreement now entering its third week.
