How the Singapore Food Agency traces a gastroenteritis outbreak

The Singapore Food Agency said a boost in inspections in 2024 contributed to a fall in gastroenteritis cases last year, thanks to greater awareness. The SFA also stepped up efforts over 2025, including more targeted checks and engaging industry players such as hotels, food businesses and hawkers.
