China urges reopening of Strait of Hormuz in talks with Iran FM

China has urged Iran to engage in dialogue with other countries in the region and restore normal passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was in China to meet his counterpart Wang Yi on Wednesday (May 6), with China reiterating its commitment to de-escalate tensions and reduce hostilities.
