Chilean scholar warns Japan's remilitarization bid 'distorts world order'

Eighty one years after Japanese militarism was defeated in WWII, Fernando Estenssoro, an academic at the University of Santiago's Institute of Advanced Studies in Chile, warns that Japan's rightward political shift and remilitarization efforts are "distorting history" and "destabilizing the world order." In contrast, China has emerged as a defender of international rule of law and multilateralism, he says. #GoodPoint
