Fadiel Adams to appear in court - Ayanda Mhlongo

National Coloured Congress leader and MP Fadiel Adams is due to appear before the uMzimkhulu Magistrates' Court in KwaZulu-Natal.

He was arrested on yesterday in connection with charges of fraud and defeating the ends justice.

Adams allegedly interfered with investigations into the murder of former ANC Youth League leader Sindiso Magaqa.

Police say the alleged interference involved a convicted hitman at a critical stage of the case.
