Kuruman Floods | Heavy rains cut off 82 villages, displace 2,000

Communities in the Joe Marolong Municipality were hardest hit during the recent floods in the Kuruman area in the Northern Cape.

More than 20 villages in the municipality were severely affected.

A four-year-old bridge linking the villages of Maphiniki and Tlokomelang has been partially destroyed.
