The Constitutional Court has heard a challenge by the Board of Healthcare Funders which argues that Parliament failed to ensure meaningful public participation in relation to the National Health Insurance Act.
The apex court is sitting for three-days in Braamfontein and will also hear the Western Cape Government's challenge to the constitutionality of the legislative process that led to the Act's adoption.
