As high fuel costs across Australia continue to impact households, bike shops are being overwhelmed as people turn to one of the simplest and oldest alternatives to the car.

As well as the traditional foot falcons, demand for e-bikes is surging and some workshops are reporting up to a month-long wait for repairs and servicing.
