The Madlanga Commission is expected to hand over its second interim report to President Cyril Ramaphosa on Friday, as stipulated in the Commission's amended Terms of Reference, dated 5 March.
The commission, which is tasked with investigating allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system, is expected to cover several themes in the report.
These include alleged criminality and corruption in the South African Police Service, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department, Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department, and evidence related to major drug busts in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
The commission is expected to continue with its public hearings on Monday.
