Our stories today:
- KYIV UNDER FIRE
Starlink speed has been restored, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Saturday, but with the vital Patriot interceptors delayed, Ukrainian cities remain an easy target for Russian strikes. This as the U.S. promotes a local ceasefire in the frontline town of Oleshky and Europe finds itself under the growing pressure from Russia’s hybrid operations.

- MOVING BORDERS TO THE RESCUE
Ukraine is negotiating the relocation of its customs controls on to the territory of neighboring Poland and Slovakia, media report. This comes after multiple Russian drone and missile strikes on Ukraine’s border crossings.

- EUROPEAN UNREST
France once again became a scene of riots on Saturday, despite deploying some 70 thousand police officers to the streets of its major cities to prevent the violence and looting which erupted during last weekend’s demonstrations against insufficient education spending and high costs of living.
