Diplomatic talks over immigration concerns continue

The South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation Minister Ronald Lamola says he held a telephone conversation with his Nigerian counterpart, newly appointed Foreign Affairs Minister Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, during which they discussed current immigration challenges, following Nigeria's summoning of South Africa's acting high commissioner over concerns affecting foreign nationals, as well as a recent demarche by Ghana and broader reported tensions over undocumented immigration in South Africa.
