This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mexico and South Africa, with both countries continuing to develop their ties.

This year, the countries will be united by their passion for soccer as Mexico co-hosts the FIFA World Cup 2026 from this Thursday.
