Monster truck crashes into crowd in Colombia, at least 3 dead

At least three people, including a 10-year-old girl, were killed and dozens injured after a monster truck drove into a crowd at an exhibition event in southern Colombia on Sunday (May 3).

Videos showed people fleeing as the truck crashed through a barrier and ploughed into the crowd before coming to a stop.

Police said the driver’s brakes are believed to have failed during a show in the city of Popayán, in Cauca province. The city's mayor said that a rigorous investigation would be carried out on the incident. #colombia #colombianews
