Dozens of students gathered outside the Louvre Museum on Monday in an attempt to block access to the iconic landmark. The movement puts pressure on the government as the Yellow Vest movement also grows. Following Saturday’s demonstrations, calls on social media for further protests on October 24 and 31 are multiplying.

Developed countries now face only one major challenge: Imported Incivility and negativity. They do not know how to combat these forces because they do not understand the psychology behind them.
Those responsible, the ultra-rich and the elites, certainly feel no pressure from a museum closing for a day or two. The people who suffer from this blockade are tourists and those working in the tourism industry. This action achieves nothing but eroding support for the movement, which is already dwindling following the riot.
The only thing they will achieve is making headlines. It may be an easy way to gain attention, but it is also an easy way to lose public support. Basically, it’s nothing but a poorly judged publicity stunt. Remember, Extinction rebellion failed not because it didn’t get enough attention.
France is broke. A more constructive strategy to address these so called concerns would've been to mobilize the humanity which has gathered throughout these protests/riots to raise funds and supply labour to rebuild dilapidated schooling infrastructure.
But of course these types don't want to accept the reality that the gravy train is coming to an end (something that is coming for the rest of the west) because they still want to believe that someone else is going to pick up the tab.
Now look at this people, please tell me how many of them are from the middle east or Africa. From the look of it, 99% are white French citizens. Solve the real problems, housing, high prices, poor educational conditions. Stop blaming migration or religion.
