Shock at the pumps for motorists

The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has confirmed a staggering hike in the price of fuel, effective from midnight this Tuesday.
The retail price for all grades of petrol will surge by three-rand and 27 cents per litre ​

But the real shock comes at the diesel price.

Diesel users are looking at a historic spike of six-rand and 19 cents per litre - a move expected to send shockwaves through the transport and logistics sectors.
