SABC News reporter Khayelihle Khumalo gives an update on upcoming international stories.

The Pan-African Parliament (PAP) has elected new leadership in Midrand, with Algeria's Fateh Habib Boudaoud taking the presidency.

The newly elected president secured 119 out of 134 votes cast, with 15 ballots spoiled. He will serve a three-year term under the African Union's regional rotation system.

Still on the African continent, South Africa will host several SADC activities, including its Ordinary Meeting of the SADC Council of Ministers.

Khumalo will also give us the latest on the US–Israel war involving Iran.
