Japan's wartime atrocities: The Bataan death march

One of the darkest chapters of World War II unfolded on the roads of the Philippines following the fall of Bataan. In 1942, more than 70,000 American and Filipino soldiers were forced into a brutal march. More than eight decades later, the memory of the thousands who died continues to endure. CGTN correspondent Gretchen Malalad spoke with relatives of survivors to uncover how prisoners of war endured the atrocities of Imperial Japan.
