There is no history from one job to another job. In the US, Employers face civil liability issues if they tell a future employer negative information about someone. I’m sure those issues exist all over the world. In this case FlyDubai either didn't do their due diligence before putting this terrorist in the cockpit, or it was done and someone signed off on it anyway. Either way, it's a massive security failure that, but for the example given by United 93 and followed by passengers ever since, the aircraft would have at minimum have crashed, and at most it would have been flown into a building. Smit Machchhar didn't give up, and managed to reach the cockpit lock switch to get the door open so others could subdue the terrorist and get the aircraft back into stabile flight.<br><br>FlyDubai is going to have to look into the backgrounds of every pilot now, because who knows how many more either escaped notice or were intentionally allowed despite the obvious concerns.

Its published network is focused on the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, with more than 125 destinations, but no U.S. cities are listed; However, any countries that accept flights from them with this information now being brought to light would be complicit.
